They met on the 20th of August, 1998

Max grew up gay, gifted and ornery in a racist little white-trash town in Oklahoma. After too many years living the straight life, Max found himself -- first as a gay man, then as an activist, and now as the man who loves Leavon.
 
  It's all happening too fast ! LEAVON
  Leavon is an administrator for a not-for-profit AIDS charity. He grew up in Ohio, and came to California -- like so many gay men -- to find a better life. He up-graded from LA to San Francisco, finally finding that good life with Max.
